Youth is held in high regard in America. We see the young as more alive, more attractive, more interesting than the old. Commercials are aimed at the young and the talking heads on television are almost always younger.
Most men want to date younger women. As men get older, they become more stable (read: wealthier) and that attracts younger women. But dating younger women isn’t always fun and games. Here’s a quick guide to dating younger women.
Finding Younger Women
You can’t date younger women if you don’t know where to find them. As an older guy, you’re probably not hanging out in areas where younger women congregate.
Good places to meet younger women are difficult to pin down. On the one hand, you could just go to where younger women are–hip bars, coffee shops on college campuses,etc.–but then you’d be the old dude hanging out with younger people trying to pick up women. If this doesn’t offend you, I say go for it.
But if you’d rather be a little more discreet about your hunt for young broads, you have to make it seem like you belong in whatever setting younger women hang out in. This means thinking outside the box. Here are some examples:
Churches–If you have a moral problem with picking up chicks in church, you can skip on to the next example. But believe it or not, churches and church events are great places to find younger women. Females are, generally, more spiritual than males, and churches are packed with young women looking for Mr. Right. No one can blame you for getting a little God in your life–so it may be time to get right with God and find a younger Christian women to date.
Casinos–Older men tend to have more cash, and thus spend more time gambling. Younger women looking to score an older guy tend to hang out in places like casinos, where displays of cash are acceptable, and where flirting goes pretty much unnoticed by the general public.
Lawyer bars–Not just any old bar will do, you need to find the bar where older professionals and lawyers hang out. Young women know these places like older women know romance novels. They stalk them for potential older guy mates, “sugar daddies” if you want to call it that.
The next time you’re trying to find a younger woman, check out less traditional spots like the ones listed above.
Dangers of Dating Younger Women
The most obvious danger of dating younger women? The potential for getting ripped off.
Relationships between older men and younger women tend to be at least a little commercial–”You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.” There’s nothing wrong with that, as long as both partners are getting something out of the deal. She gets his cash, he gets her body.
Problems pop up when one partner isn’t being fully compensated for the relationship. If a younger woman is little more than a cash parasite, the older man may have little recourse other than to move on and find another young woman. At the same time, when an older man forgets the nature of the relationship and cuts off the cash flow, the younger woman has no choice but to find another older guy.
There are exceptions to every rule, of course, but for the most part, the “relationship” between an older guy and a younger girl is about sex and money.
The other big danger of dating younger women may surprise you–overall health. Demographic Research, a German company, conducted a study into the health of both younger women and older men in these relationships and found that both partners are at higher risk for heart attacks and strokes. In fact, older women who look for younger men (the elusive “cougar”) are also at higher risk for health problems. The connection is unclear, but the data is solid. People who take part in mixed-age relationships are far more likely to have serious health problems.
Dating younger women is a fantasy that many older men share. With a little luck, and a little bit of strategy, any older guy with a little cash to throw around can make this fantasy a reality.
