Seduction Techniques
The word “seduction” has a negative connotation these days, especially when it is combined with the word “techniques.” It sounds, to some people, like you’re objectifying the people you’re seducing.
The word seduction is innocent of all charges against it — seduction simply refers to a set of behaviors meant to attract someone. The reason people these days look down on “seduction” is the giant pool of so called “seduction experts” who put out books designed to teach men to get with any woman they choose. Many of these techniques involve things that scare people, words like “hypnosis” come up, and people fear you’re doing something unkind or even immoral when you “seduce” someone.
It doesn’t have to be that way. Here are ten completely normal seduction techniques for men to use on women that have passed the test of time.
Eye Contact
Women go for guy’s eyes the way guys go for women’s breasts. You need to make eye contact as often as possible (though for varying lengths of time) so she can fall for your eyes. Little things like looking into a guy’s eyes go a long way toward making you the object of her affection.
The Visual Voyage
Lots of seduction experts talk about something akin to “the visual voyage”. This means letting your eyes travel a woman’s body as you talk to her. There’s a thin line between the visual voyage and a full-on ogle, so practice your visual tactics, and make sure not to go too far.
Fancy Food and Drink
Women are superficial creatures just like men. If you take a first date out to an incredibly fancy restaurant, eat fancy foods and drink good wine, she will think of you as a giving person, a kind person, and the kind of guy who can support himself. Taking a woman out to an expensive meal on the first date is akin to saying “I’ve got money.”
Fancy Clothes
Just like impressing a woman with fancy food, you should try to impress her with your clothes. If you can’t spend a fortune on fancy duds, at least make sure you look your best. Avoid going out to any possible situation where a female may want to interact with you when you look like a mess. Create an image of yourself as a sexy, clean-smelling, handsome lady killer and you’re likely to become one.
Danger – The Best Aphrodisiac
If you don’t want to the fancy restaurant route on your first date, try to take her to something that will thrill or scare her a little bit. If she likes scary movies, take her to a Hitchcock festival. If she’s a bit more adventurous, suggest bungee-jumping or skydiving, then pull it off. She’ll be impressed with your manliness, and the endorphins that flow during fear and excitement will pretty much guarantee you a spot in her bed.
Mirroring
This one’s simple — mirror a woman’s emotions and feelings early in a relationship and she’ll think of you as sensitive. Seduce her with your sensitivity — feel exactly how she does about things. This means watching her facial expressions and body language and mirroring anything you see that seems like something she really cares about.
Body Language
Just like how you mirror a woman’s emotions and feelings, you should mirror her body language as well. If she’s leaning toward you, brushing her hair back, touching your arm, and giving off signals that she wants you to touch her, you should mirror her and do these same things back. This is the way that people really talk when they’re early in the stages of a relationship, so get talking with your body.
Ask Questions
If you want to impress a woman, let her talk. How do you get her to talk? Ask her lots of questions. Then listen to the answers.
Patience
Seduction takes time. Seduction requires that you try to seduce a woman many times over, and pick yourself up off the ground when you get rejected. In many ways, a patient man is a sexy man.
Laugh All the Time
The more you laugh, the funnier she’ll think you are. Laughing at jokes (and being the first in any group to laugh) will turn you into the life of the party. A sense of humor is almost as good an aphrodisiac as an endorphin rush. Laugh early and laugh often and your seduction will be even easier for it.
Though I don’t promise that the above methods will land you any woman you want any time you want it, I can promise that all of these tactics have been used for thousands of years to create lasting relationships. If you can wrap your head around these basic seduction techniques, you can approach women with the kind of confidence it takes to turn a friend into a girlfriend.
