People interested in seduction advice and pickup artist community information might be interested in the Neil Strauss Blog. For instance, the latest post on the blog offered up the place (London, England, UK) and dates (November 13-13, 2010) for the latest Stylelife Academy World Conference, where “Style“, aka Neil Strauss, talks about “The Game” and other pick-up tips.
You probably know by now who Neil Strauss is: a writer for Rolling Stone and The New York Times who eventually wrote a book, The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists, about the seduction community and his time spent learning how to seduce women. Told from the perspective of an outsider seeing how the experts do it, and then becoming an expert, this is one of the most important pieces of literature an average single guy out in the dating community should read. You get to enter the world of the seduction community as told by an excellent writer with the ability to evoke and analyze.

Reading the Neil Strauss blog gives you a sense of what I’m talking about. But let’s return to the subject of Neil Strauss’s last blog post.
The Stylelife Academy are Neil Strauss’s personally founded seduction artist, pickup expert, and dating seminars. The Style-Life Academy World Conference this year is going to feature a number of topics, including the following.
Since Neil Strauss has been voted the best pick-up artist 3 years running, a stop at this conference, held in a secret location in the London municipal area, is going to be worth the trouble.
If you visit the Style Blog, you’ll get pickups artist tips and other thoughts on seduction methods, though this isn’t all you’ll find on the website. Since it was started in July 2007, the Neil Strauss blog has talked about a whole lot of things besides dating and singles life, but the blogroll is mainly about that subject.
In the last few months, I’ve read about “Igniter“, an author who wrote a book called “The Last Slut Alive“. I’ve read a discussion between Neil Strauss and comedian Chris Rock about why comedians don’t get groupies, and about how women aren’t telling the truth when they say they like a guy with a sense of humor.
(Chris Rock talks about how woman chase rock stars, athletes, “serious” actors, but never chase comedians, because those other guys have “mystique”. You feel like you know a comic, and you get in the “friend zone”, so you have no mystique.) And of course, I’ve read about the upcoming conference.
Along the way, you’ll read about other things in Neil Strauss’s life, like the reception to his book, Emergency. You get to know the writer and pickup artist, which helps you decide whether this is a guy whom you want to listen to about seduction. (I suggest you do. He’s one of the best thought-out on the subject.)
