Mystery Method

Mystery Method Seduction Techniques

The “Mystery Method” is both a book and a pickup artist method espoused by “Mystery”, a former illusionist who decided to impart his knowledge of pickup lines and seduction by writing a book.

Along with Chris Odom, Mystery became a best-selling author and a leading pickup master. Of course, with a name like “Mystery”, you might need more information before you decide to listen to this guy. So here’s a little more about Mystery.

Who Is the Pickup Artist “Mystery”?

Mystery is Erik von Markovik, a Canadian reality tv star and former stage magician (illusionist) who put his skills at making the improbable seem plausible to seduce women. That’s right, he’s an illusionist who realized that the art of illusion had a social, seductive quality. If he created the illusion he was the type of man the most beautiful women in the world wanted, there would be a fair share of 10′s who would go to be with him.

The Mystery Method

Over time, Mystery became a world class pickup artist. Sure, he might have a fair share of charlatan and con artist in him, but that’s kind of the point. Neil Strauss made Mystery one of the main characters in his book, The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists, which made him a bit of a legend. In 2007, Mystery became the star of his own MTV reality show, The Pick-Up Artist. He also wrote his own pickup book.

The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed

The Mystery Method was co-written by Chris Odom & Mystery, two first-rate pickup artists who came together in 2004 to give men of all stripes the tools they need to seduce women. The book provides a combination of humor, social science, and graphical charts to help men learn seduction skills. “Mystery” is likely to antagonize certain readers with his arrogance and forcefulness, but this is just the type of attitude he wants to breed in his readers.

While you might not take everything in the Mystery Method and put it in your own social repertoire, you are likely to learn tips and suggestions that will help you in picking up women.

Here’s the upshot of the Mystery Method: high quality women are naturally going to be drawn to high quality men. This is a natural evolutionary process, bred into women from the beginning of time. Once you get this into your head, the only reasonable thing for a man who wants to attract high quality (beautiful) women is to become the kind of man who attracts such women – or at least get good at faking it.

Does the Mystery Method Work?

The Mystery Method works just fine for what it does. The Mystery Method helps you pick up women, and often women that are “out of your league”. The Mystery Method does not help you keep these women. Only being the type of man who can keep a 10 will allow you to do that. Once you get the funny notion that you want to keep a ten out of your head, you can start to perfect the Mystery Method.

Don’t assume this is going to make every woman fall into bed with you. No one has that kind of success, and you shouldn’t worry about batting a thousand. Instead, worry about practicing the method until you get good at it, and faking a confident, even arrogant, attitude until you are good at projecting your superiority. Eventually, the fiction you’re putting out there will become reality, or at least close enough to make the Mystery Method work.

Reading About the Mystery Method

To read about the Mystery Method, you can find the book The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed online for somewhere between $10 and $15. This is a book that Neil Strauss wrote the introduction for, and that became the #27 best-selling book on Amazon for a time. That’s awesome for a pickup lines book. Get it, read it, and apply what makes sense to your dating life. Get a thick skin, reinvent yourself, and become a pickup artist.
