I reviewed GuyGetsGirl.com’s pdf download ebook, but I wanted to discuss the various “Guy Gets Girl” dating tips and techniques you’ll encounter in this product.
In this article, I’ll give an overview of these dating suggestions, cite a number of direct tips from the book (as an example of what you’ll be buying), paraphrase a number of other thoughts and ideas for picking up women and gaining their attraction, while interspersing all of these with my own thoughts on romancing women, and how this information works alongside the pickup artist community advice.
This post only discusses the Guy Gets Girl 1st Edition book for beginners, which was written by Tiffany Taylor. Having a woman suggest tips for single men is what sets this product apart, since single men tend to view other men as advisors on this topic. But having a women give you insight into the female psyche is a little bit like having a former bookmaker give you tips on how to handicap ballgames – it’s insight that an outside (a man) can ever have.
Tiffany Taylor has a broad set of concepts which dictate much of the advice. The techniques she suggests you pursue includes self-improvement to boost your natural charisma, belief in yourself, and the idea that all men have potential. One insight is that women study men to see what kind of potential they have, so you need to be ready to stand up to scrutiny. Prepare yourself as you would for a job interview, then you’ll be ready when your big chance arrives.
These are the broad principles set out, but the GuyGetsGirl ebook incorporates a lot of different elements into executing these principles. There are specific tips for how to present yourself and what women like in men they are attracted to.
Below are a number of the Guy-Gets-Girl dating tips, which are found in sidebars throughout the book. I wanted to include a few of these, to give you a preview of what you are likely to encounter throughout the remaining ebooks. There are many more where these come from, about one every page or two.
Other tips including how to put your best foot forward. Showering and shaving isn’t just about looking nice and being hygienic; it shows a woman what you think about yourself. You don’t have to spend a fortune on clothes, but showing you care about your appearance is a big plus, and having an up-to-date style shows you have put some thought into this part of your life.
Tiffany also make a big point about finding love in more than just the bar scene, and she gives a lot of advice and suggestions for how to go about finding romance and potential dates in any setting.
Besides the tips for what to do, there are plenty of tips for what to avoid. You can say and do a lot of great things when meeting a woman or going on a first date, but if you screw up in a couple of ways really bad, you might ruin the whole experience. From one woman’s perspective, here are a number of suggestions for pitfalls to avoid when attracting women.
I’ve talked about the idea of funny men and “women loving humor” here on the Pickup Lines Blog before. Theoretically, women find a good sense of humor as a top quality in men, but empirical data out in the dating scene and the conventional wisdom of a lot of our pickup artist experts is that women find other things more attractive.
She might like the funny guy, but often only as a friend. Women love a “mystique” about a guy, which is why they like confident men, people of the opposite sex who provide them a challenge, guys in bands, men of wealth and power, and those who have their own unique style.
So Tiffany Taylor tells us that women still prefer good humor most of all. Someone like Neil Strauss says it’s just the opposite, and he had Chris Rock agreeing with him (who should know). Read both, hear out the arguments, and make you own decision – but I’ve made mine.
The online dating section of the Guy Gets Girl Beginners book offers good general advice if you’re just beginning to get into the Internet dating community. A lot of this has to do with managing expectations in the women you attract online. That isn’t to say you try to set expectations low; instead, you let them know exactly what you want from the first sentence. This way, there is no confusion, no disappointment, and you end up interacting with women who want what you want, because that’s what they want, too.
Online dating websites and e-dating profiles give you a rare opportunity. With all the time in the world to measure your words, you can let every women interested in your profile know exactly what you want in a woman and a dating relationship. You can set your category for love, friendship, companionship, dating, serious relationship, marriage, or simply sex. There are women online who want all these things, so you’re better off letting people know from the start what it is you want. Essentially, you’re writing your dating mission statement to the world.
One of the best parts of the ebook is where Tiffany Taylor discusses women’s body language and how men can read the gestures, facial expression, and body language of the females they are hoping to attract. This lets you know which women are attracted and which aren’t, letting you avoid a bunch of neuroses-inducing negative experiences and giving you a lot more confidence in pursuing women you’re attracted to. These pickup tips cover the following information.
This hardly does justice to the Guy-Gets-Girl treatment of this subject. There are large sections of the book devoted to body language and “reading women”, which is one reason I recommend this product.
The GuyGetsGirl.com ebook by Tiffany Taylor comes with 10 commandments of dating, which are the ten most important tips you should take away from the book. I wanted to include these, so you get an idea what the people at Guy-Gets-Girl find important.
If you agree with these ten tips for dating, then you’ll probably want to read the rest of this virtual book. In the next few days, I’ll review the 2nd and 3rd editions of “Guy Gets Girl”, so you’ll have an idea about the intermediate and advanced copies of this ebook before deciding to purchase or not.
