Dating Pitfalls – Date Advice
Besides the tips for what to do, there are plenty of tips for what to avoid. You can say and do a lot of great things when meeting a woman or going on a first date, but if you screw up in a couple of ways really bad, you might ruin the whole experience. From one woman’s perspective, here are a number of suggestions for pitfalls to avoid when attracting women.
- Shave – mustaches are obsolete. Get rid of a five-o’clock shadow on a date. Over 90% of women say they prefer a clean-shaven man. The 19th century was the Golden Age of crazy facial hair, but we’re living in the 21st century – shave!
- Two types of guys on the market – boys and men. Are you going to be the boy (wearing baggy pants, t-shirt, and a ball cap) or the man (wearing something straight out of GQ)?

So Tiffany Taylor tells us that women still prefer good humor most of all. Someone like Neil Strauss says it’s just the opposite, and he had Chris Rock agreeing with him (who should know). Read both, hear out the arguments, and make you own decision – but I’ve made mine.

The online dating section of the Guy Gets Girl Beginners book offers good general advice if you’re just beginning to get into the Internet dating community. A lot of this has to do with managing expectations in the women you attract online. That isn’t to say you try to set expectations low; instead, you let them know exactly what you want from the first sentence. This way, there is no confusion, no disappointment, and you end up interacting with women who want what you want, because that’s what they want, too.

- State clearly in your profile what you want.
Online dating websites and e-dating profiles give you a rare opportunity. With all the time in the world to measure your words, you can let every women interested in your profile know exactly what you want in a woman and a dating relationship. There are women online who want all these things, so you’re better off letting people know from the start what it is you want. Essentially, you’re writing your dating mission statement to the world.

These pickup tips cover the following information.

This hardly does justice to the Guy-Gets-Girl treatment of this subject. There are large sections of the book devoted to body language and “reading women”, which is one reason I recommend this product.

The GuyGetsGirl.com ebook by Tiffany Taylor comes with 10 commandments of dating, which are the ten most important tips you should take away from the book. I wanted to include these, so you get an idea what the people at Guy-Gets-Girl find important.
