I'd really suggest people heed on his advice when it comes to "taking things with a grain of salt" like when he talks about the problems Cadillac were having with their sales.

Lexus were beating them in their sales so someone suggested that Cadillac bring a Lexus to their factory and pull it apart as apparently the Lexuses parts lined up perfectly whereas the Cadillacs were forced together apparently ???

This means the build quality of the Lexus was a lot better but in the Jungian sense this has little to do with intuition.Intuition is the concept of idea on what the car will look like and how it will be built but the Sensing is the concrete and realistic part.

That is the "realization" of those ideas that the bolt holes will line up perfectly and that it won't turn out to be a bag of shit in reality.

I've figured out I can still go the other way with women because my "N" sits at around 55% so these days I'm more of an EXFJ.

When I did my apprenticeship as an electrical fitter my manager was an ESFJ and he helped me work on my "sensing & Judging" side a bit more so I wouldn't be like a lot of tradies who come home and belt their wives up to "keep them in line".

As you can see I do like pulling these things to pieces to pieces to figure out how they work and I've figured out a person has to be careful who they listen to including David Deangelo.

If in doubt go and see a reputable psychologist as even some of them are a bit wacky from my experience well I'm at least talking about a psychiatrist.

I first stated using his products in 2007 when we were doing a coal washery expansion and they bought these electricians up from Sydney.Well the project was underquoted but the company still made a lot of money out of it.

One of the electricians was an ESFJ and he said that had little to do with foresight.

Comment on How to Pick Up Guys at Gay Bars by PrincessWilly

What a terrible article. This post is fraught with a gross lack of knowledge and misinformation.

First of all, gay bars are- -just that- -gay bars. There may be a Small handful of straight guys floating around, but it's Very unlikely. At the bars I frequent, I have rarely seen any straight boys around.

Given the low odds of a straight guy and girl meeting up in a gay bar, I can say with much certainty that your average gay man would feel rather offended to see a heterosexual pair flirting it up. This also applies to being hit on by women. We go to gay bars to get Away from heterosexuality. We have to put up with it everywhere else; on the TV, in magazines, on the internet; Hell, I've even seen a guy getting to 'second base' out on the streets! For most of us, gay bars are a sanctuary where we can be with those like us.

And where do you get your "50%" idea? I think you should go back to elementary school and relearn probabilities. 50% means that for every two people in the bar, one of them is gay and one is straight. At a gay bar? Are you bonkers? In my experience (based on hitting on or being hit on by others), there's a very small margin of straight boys at a gay bar, well below 5%. It's rare that I even get into the awkward situation of a guy professing that he's straight.

Finally, just the idea in general that you can "tell" whether or not somebody is gay just by talking to them for a few minutes. Maybe where you live gays talk with a lisp and say "girl", but from my experience most gay guys are just guys that like guys. I don't drop the word fabulous in ever sentence, I don't talk like a woman in a man's body. And most gays I know are the same way. I've known people for years that didn't even know I was gay. I didn't hide it, there just isn't any evidence in everyday life.

So, in short, you need to get your facts straight and stop peddling misinformation to your readers. How about you research your subject, or even talk to somebody that knows about it before posting something about it?

Davids materials are useful to a certain extent but he cannot answer all my questions , like :-

Why is it my family and education system , government , etc tried to place me with a woman whose NOT my archetype (i.e. ENFJ , which I am with an ES_J woman) , THAT has never worked , also that they suggest that I would make a good tradesman , yet don't realize why when I went up to the north coast in New South Wales to my cousins wedding (both partners were NF types) that no one wanted to talk to me , besides my grand parents (who are also both ENF_ types).

I was working under an ESTJ boss in the mining industry here in the Hunter region here in New South Wales and up north they are greenies (which I am a bit also) with their heads stuck in a newspaper.

Also why that side of the family thinks I'm a "weirdy" or "very expensive" when I am just as normal as they are, yes , I avoided getting into the "black arts" when I was going to school.

It seems weird because I am still very healthy and that they'd be happier with me if I looked like a 50 year old back then when I was 30 and that if I was rude and obnoxious that I would somehow be more "relateable".

Oh yeah, I saw an ESTJ woman in the bank I went to school with who was very reluctant to go out with me,I was wondering why she had a shocked look on her face , I found out I was banking some money for car rego that my grandfather lent me that was from his "funeral fund" apparently and said that I was in the same boat as him.

They're the sort of things that David cannot help me with.

Cold reading has always astonished folks. And what's not to be very impressed about? Even if the person can't genuinely read your mind as he might read words in a book, there's still something indisputably astonishing about a individual who can read you immediately.

I think this post is great, perhaps you should also add that the person add some sort of external motivation system to keep himself motivated to approach that's the biggest problem for most guys I find.

A true gay bar is a horrible place for a woman to try to pick up a guy. Depending on the location, a straight woman's presence may be looked on as being intrusive or even as a "spy" - many attendees are not truly out of the closet and a straight woman's presence can be viewed as threatening. On the other side of the coin, are you a woman who does not mind sharing your washroom with random males who, in seedier places, may actually use the ladies room as a quieter place for quick sex? If it is a mixed male/female gay bar (gay/lesbian), be prepared to be hit on by woman, touched by woman, or generally mistaken for a lesbian - even by a drunk hot bull dyke who could carry you away under one arm.

Stick to the straight or 'gay friendly' dance establishments if you are a woman on the hunt for a man. A gay bar is one of the few places where gay people can feel free to express themselves honestly and all that pent up energy held back by being forced to "act straight" needs to be released. A straight girl should hit a straight bar - her chances of getting lucky are much better. While many gay people don't care, some feel that their gay bar is diminished by influx of straight people. Forget about bringing straight males to a male dominated gay pickup bar, it is a recipe for disaster if they are not extremely open minded (slightly gay).
